BIO

Lisa Hartwig Ericson (MFA, Glass & Ceramics) is an artist and independent researcher working at the intersection of craft, design, and contemporary art. Her practice explores the relationship between materiality, technology, and the body through glass as both medium and method.

She participates in exhibitions in Sweden and internationally. Her recent exhibitions include “The Space Craft” (Kista, Sweden, 2025); “Quick ʼn Dirty” (Ateljé 7, Stockholm, 2025); “Mama Kashakaa and Friends” (The Peoples Craft Week, Johannesburg, South Africa, 2025); “Material Dialogues” (Casa Slalom Acoustics, Milan, Italy, 2025) and “HORISONTER” (Engelska Magasinet, Rejmyre Art Lab, Sweden, 2025)In 2025, she also completed a commissioned work for Art of Recycling, winner of the Swedish Design Award 2025.

As an independent researcher, Lisa has been published for her artistic research project “Looking Through Glass at the Merging of Body and Technology”, which investigates how traditional craftsmanship meets digital technology and artificial intelligence.

Before her artistic career, she worked as Head of Education Programmes at UNICEF Sweden and as Chief of Staff at Stockholm City Hall.
